This is a text description of esm0001.gif, which is an image of the Directory Server Login Window. This is the window that first appears when you launch Enterprise Security Manager. It prompts you for the following information, which enables Enterprise Security Manager to bind with the directory server:

• Choose either Password or SSL Client authentication. (Note: the surrounding text describes what is required for each authentication method.)
• If you choose password authentication, then the login window displays fields where you can enter a username and password that Enterprise Security Manager can use to log in to the directory.
• Fields are also displayed where you can enter the directory Hostname and Port Number.
• Three buttons are situated at the bottom of the window. The OK button that enables you to send the login information to the directory, the Cancel button, and the Help button, which you can click to access online help.
