Accessing the Oracle Workflow Administrator Home Page

Note: The Oracle Workflow web pages are being converted to the Oracle Applications Framework user interface format. Depending on your version of Oracle Workflow and which patches you have applied, you may see Oracle Workflow web pages in the new format as well as in the previous format. The administrator home page is currently available for the version of Oracle Workflow embedded in Oracle Applications.

Use the Oracle Workflow administrator home page to link to Oracle Workflow's web-based administration features. This page centralizes your access to the features.

1. Use a web browser to navigate to the administrator home page, using a responsibility and navigation path specified by your system administrator. See: Oracle Workflow Administrator Navigation Paths.
You can navigate to the administrator home page from other Oracle Workflow administrator web pages by choosing the Home tab or selecting the Home link at the bottom of the page.
2. Global navigation buttons appear in the upper right corner of the home page, as well as on every other Oracle Workflow web page.
You can also access these pages by selecting the corresponding links at the bottom of the current page.
Note: The Oracle Applications Personalization Framework provides the ability to customize Oracle self-service web application pages. If you are logged in as a user or with a responsibility for which the Personalize Self-Service Defn profile option is set to Yes, a global Personalize button appears on each self-service web application page, and Personalize Region links appear for every personalizable region on each self-service web application page. You can choose the Personalize button or Personalize Region links to create your personalizations. For more information, please refer to the Oracle Applications Personalization Framework online help.
3. The Notifications at a Glance region of the home page lists your five highest priority notifications, ordered by priority and then by date. For each notification, the list displays the from role, workflow item type, subject, sent date, and due date. Select the From, Type, Subject, Sent, or Due column heading to sort the list by that column.
4. The Error Workflows region displays the five most recent errored workflows started within the last week. If you have workflow administrator privileges, the list shows workflows owned by any user; if you do not have workflow administrator privileges, the list shows only workflows that you own. For each workflow, the list displays the status, workflow item type, item key, user key, and start date.
5. To view workflow definitions and run test workflow processes, choose the Developer Studio tab, or select the Developer Studio link at the bottom of the page. See: Testing Workflow Definitions Using the Developer Studio, Oracle Workflow Developer's Guide.
6. To manage Business Event System events, subscriptions, systems, and agents, choose the Business Events tab, or select the Business Events link at the bottom of the page. See: Event Manager for Oracle Applications, Oracle Workflow Developer's Guide.
7. To view the Workflow Monitor, choose the Status Monitor tab, or select the Status Monitor link at the bottom of the page. See: Accessing the Administrator Monitor.
8. To view notifications in the Notifications Worklist, choose the Notifications tab, or select the Notifications link at the bottom of the page. See: To View Notifications from the Advanced Worklist, Oracle Workflow User's Guide.
